Professional Editing Services

 

Dr. Stoudt has edited doctoral dissertations from Liberty University, Lamar University, Nova Southeaster University, and Walden University. She has served on dissertation committees for Liberty Univeristy.

Her main focus when editing is APA format, and she does not work with MLA or other formats.

She has also edited journal articles, workshop proposals, and master's level research.

  • Writing Coaching - explaining how to improve papers, major revisions, word processing tips, more in-depth than editing

Process:

  • 1. Contact Dr. Stoudt to check her availability.
  • 2. Inform her of any deadlines you have and any format specifications you have.
  • 3. Contact Dr. Stoudt for ways to submit your deposit.
  • 4. Email your manuscript to Dr. Stoudt.
  • 5. She normally charges $25.00/hr and keeps a detailed time sheet. Discuss with her in advance if you would like a different rate. Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, the default fee will be $25/hr.
  • 6. Dr. Stoudt will complete the work, and email an invoice to you.
  • 7. She will email you the completed work after she receives your payment.

Scheduling

If you would like Dr. Stoudt to do your evaluations or test, and you have not already scheduled,  please contact her either by email at dr.patti.s@gmail.com OR through the Contact page. The best time to get on her eval schedule is to contact her in March or April. For more information, check out the Evaluations Page or the Testing Page on our website. Let Dr. Stoudt know the approximate date you'll be wrapping up your required time (180 days/900 or 990 hours), and let her know days/times to avoid, or at least 3 suggested dates/a.m. /p.m. that you would prefer.
